It’s been a while, but . . .
We’re getting ready for another trip abroad, and to get a bit of closure, I’d like to post some of the paintings I’ve done from the trip. I am also testing the ability to update this blog from a tablet, rather than a laptop computer — something I wasn’t able to do last year. So please drop me a line of leave a comment to let me know how that looks on your computer.
The trip started in China, so here’s an acrylic painting (36×12 in.) of the Great Wall, at Jinshanling, a national park.
Here’s another panorama, of rice fields in Bhutan. We arrived just after the rice harvest last year, but I’ve taken the artistic liberty of painting them as if the rice was still growing there.
We took a hot air balloon ride above the ancient city of Bagan. This is the view (again, a 36×12 in. acrylic painting.)
The Tiger’s Nest Monastery, one of the highlights (as well as the highest point in terms of elevation) was the Tiger’s Nest Monastery. This is a watercolor of the view from an adjacent peak.
There will be more images in the Gallery, if you’d like to peruse them.
