In Java now

A Day in Hong Kong . . .

. . . is enough for me. I just wanted to be able to have seen the city, sensed it, walked around it. It was a scramble, and I’m glad we spent a day there, but I don’t believe I need to go back.

We didn’t really do any sightseeing. Just walked around, saw the flower market, the bird market (really a park where bird enthusiasts took their pets out for a walk, in their cages. Pretty though. Enjoyed that!), and other street markets.

Stayed in Kowloon, and did have time to do an “urban sketch.”

Here’s the view from our Kowloon hotel window (pretty cool!). Having the iPad is very convenient. I think I’m better with conventional tools, though.

Oops! Have to leave it here. Need to leave for the ballet here in Java. I’ll explain later. Cheers!
