Off to Hong Kong
Got out of bed at 4:00 Friday morning after Thanksgiving. Our plane was scheduled for a 7:15 takeoff, but the excitement was too much for me to sleep any longer. Had a quick breakfast of leftovers in the fridge. Gave me a chance to practice using my new drawing software, Autodesk Sketchbook. This actually works quite well on the iphone!
It’s a first effort, so excuse the stiffness:
My friend Ken picked us up at 6:00 and drove us to the airport. The flights from New Bern to Charlotte, to JFK, and on to Hong Kong (Cathay Pacific) were all on time, all very smooth. We arrived at our hotel in Kowloon at 8:00 pm, local time, 7:00 am EST Saturday, so it took us 25 hours to get here, door to door.
Feeling kind of beat, so I’m keeping it short. One more day in Hong Kong, then on to Indonesia.
